The safety of all participants and other road users is our highest priority. By entering any Cannonbawz event, you confirm that both you and your vehicle meet all legal requirements.

To participate all drivers must:

  • Hold a Valid Driving Licence for the vehicle they are driving

  • Not be disqualified from driving, or be subject to any driving ban

  • Not have any ongoing motoring convictions or legal proceedings that would prevent them from legally taking part in this event.

  • Never driver under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Cannonbawz has a zero-tolerance policy towards drink or drug driving.

Drivers are responsible for looking after any under 16’s they bring along to events.

To participate all vehicles must:

  • Be roadworthy and maintained in a safe condition

  • Hold a valid MOT certificate where legally required

  • Be fully taxed

  • Be covered by valid motor insurance for the duration of the event

The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any participant from the event if they fail to meet these requirements or if there are concerns regarding the legality, safety or roadworthiness of the driver or vehicle.

Cannonbawz Run is about enjoying Scotland’s incredible roads responsibly, supporting our chosen charities and promoting safe, respectful driving.

Anyone found to be driving dangerously, recklessly, or in breach of the law may be excluded from the event immediately without refund.

Cannonbawz holds no responsibility for any incidents that occur whilst taking part in our events. Please contact the event organisers if you have any concerns before taking part.
